Poland Country Manager

About the role

This is a founder-style role responsible for launching Montu's operations in Poland from the ground up. The successful candidate will manage market-entry strategy, establish the legal entity, navigate regulatory requirements, and build the local team and supply chain. This position requires a hands-on leader capable of operating in an ambiguous environment while collaborating with global leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end launch of Montu in Poland, including establishing a new Polish legal entity.
• Own and manage daily operations for Montu Poland, ensuring effective execution across all functional areas.
• Develop and execute market entry and growth strategy to establish and scale the Polish business.
• Build and manage relationships with importers, wholesalers and suppliers of medical cannabis products in Poland.
• Navigate Polish regulatory and licensing requirements for the import, wholesale and distribution of cannabis-based medicines.
• Develop and negotiate the local supply chain, including distribution and logistics partners.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing local team as the business grows.
• Represent Montu with local regulators, government bodies, industry associations and healthcare stakeholders.
