Data Engineer GCP

About the role

SFEIR is looking for a Data Engineer to design and develop robust, scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will implement ETL/ELT solutions using dbt and integrate GenAI services like Vertex AI into production environments. The role focuses on modernizing client data architectures using software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines on GCP
• Implement ETL/ELT solutions with dbt on BigQuery using versioning, testing, and code reviews
• Orchestrate data workflows using Cloud Composer
• Set up monitoring, observability, and data quality for data platforms
• Participate in the modernization of client data architectures and integrate GenAI services into production pipelines
