Speechify is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to support the growth of its text-to-speech application and lead new projects. This role involves strategic thinking, product decision-making, and building high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced, flat organization.

Responsibilities

• Owning major features and working closely with the design team
• Shaping the future of the Android team
• Owning, maintaining, and improving reliability metrics for key features
• Participating in discussions across Product, Design, and Engineering teams
• Reviewing pull requests and supporting teammates
• Handling critical issues and unexpected challenges
• Taking ownership of feature releases and providing nightly builds for the QA team
