About the role
The Quality Assurance Associate will support the delivery of high-quality customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence reviews. This role involves conducting independent quality assessments of completed client files to ensure they meet regulatory expectations, internal policies, and operational standards. The successful candidate will strengthen quality controls and support the delivery of a robust financial crime compliance framework.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality reviews of completed due diligence files, including higher-risk customers, PEPs, and complex ownership structures.
- Assess the quality and completeness of customer risk assessments, source of wealth/funds evidence, and beneficial ownership verification.
- Review screening outcomes and ensure decisions, escalations, and risk-related findings are appropriately documented.
- Capture and report quality review outcomes, categorising findings according to materiality and risk impact.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to case analysts to support improvements in accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor recurring themes and error trends to contribute to process enhancements and training initiatives.
- Produce quality assurance reporting and management information highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Maintain awareness of evolving AML and financial crime regulatory requirements.
