Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Butternut Box is seeking a highly analytical Senior FP&A Analyst to support the business in reporting, planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The role involves collaborating with commercial and operational teams to provide insightful analysis that drives decision-making and supports the company's expansion across Europe. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant comfortable with ambiguity and eager to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Run the rolling forecast process to understand how deviations from plan impact P&L and cash.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning processes while leading defined workstreams.
• Conduct periodic P&L and cash variance analyses and work with budget owners to implement solutions.
• Host 4-weekly periodic business reviews to discuss risks, opportunities, and business performance.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to analyze unit economics, growth rates, and resource allocation.
• Model scenarios for product and market launches and prepare quarterly board materials.
• Own processes and team goals, utilizing AI and automation to improve reporting efficiency.
