About the role
The Data & Analytics team builds robust infrastructure, tools, and data pipelines to process telemetry, sensor, and video data from autonomous systems. As a Data / Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end data pipelines and tooling to support STARK's autonomous defence systems. You will design and optimize scalable architectures to enable rapid decision-making and continuous deployment across engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing of telemetry, sensor, and video data.
- Develop robust automation frameworks and internal tooling to stream data workflows across cross-functional STARK programs.
- Architect cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define data models, interface specs, and telemetry schemas.
- Optimize data processing pipelines for high throughput, memory efficiency, and sub-second execution in mission-critical environments.
- Implement comprehensive data quality, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect anomalies and operational issues.
- Maintain rigorous software engineering standards, including unit testing, CI/CD practices, and clear technical documentation.
