Backend & Applied AI Engineer

About the role

You will join the engineering team to focus on a product used to structure real-world clinical data. Your role involves developing and maintaining backend services and APIs, improving architecture and performance, and integrating AI-enabled features. You will work closely with the team to ensure production reliability and support the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python.
• Work with the team to deliver product changes end to end.
• Measure and improve processing time, scalability and backend architecture.
• Strengthen testing, CI/CD, observability and production reliability.
• Collaborate with the Applied AI Engineer on pull-request reviews and backend integration of AI features.

Qualifications

• Up to two years of professional experience in Python backend development
