AI Governance Consultant

About the role

The AI Governance Consultant will analyze existing governance models and design frameworks to ensure robust AI compliance and risk management. This role involves advising organizations on regulatory requirements, implementing control systems, and supporting the integration of ethical standards throughout the AI lifecycle. The consultant will also lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and facilitate strategic discussions with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing governance models and identify optimization potential
• Design and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks for AI governance
• Advise executives on regulatory risks and compliance with frameworks like the EU AI Act
• Coordinate the implementation of governance processes within AI projects
• Assess regulatory requirements and derive measures to ensure legal compliance
• Support the development of ISO management systems and accompany information security audits
• Mentor and coach junior consultants to foster team knowledge transfer
• Document project progress and prepare decision materials for stakeholders
