About the role

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join the team as a Senior Software Engineer. This role involves monitoring service availability for self-service machines, managing escalations, and driving operational service protection and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service availability of all self-service machines and proactively report failures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency using data-driven reports.
• Manage escalations to internal and external parties and maintain clear records of issues.
• Undertake analysis of service performance, incident, and change data to address trends.
• Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to drive quality improvements.
• Provide consulting services to stakeholder groups regarding best practices.
