About the role

As a Linux System Administrator, you will not only maintain existing systems but actively shape the company's IT landscape. You will work in a small IT team at a growing, family-owned technology company, focusing on Linux and Open Source solutions. The role involves migrating to open source alternatives, enhancing cyber security, and developing internal AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the Linux system landscape and associated network and IT infrastructure.
• Develop existing systems and manage migrations from standard software to Open Source alternatives.
• Work with virtualization and automation technologies such as Proxmox, Docker, vSphere, Python, and Ansible.
• Enhance security and resilience in compliance with standards like NIS 2, GDPR, CRA, and TISAX.
• Maintain and expand the internal Linux-based AI server.
• Provide second and third-level technical support for internal users.
