Condition Monitoring Engineer

About the role

The Condition Monitoring Engineer supports the company's value proposition by generating high-quality, actionable data for industrial customers. This role involves analyzing vibration and temperature data to determine maintenance needs and collaborating with product development, installation, and customer support teams. The engineer will lead the development of predictive maintenance tools and expand the company's expertise in machine condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites, customizing data processing to the client’s asset and determining if maintenance is needed
• Perform vibration data collection, data analysis, software modeling and programming, and engineering evaluations
• Evaluate machinery health and condition through detailed analysis of vibration data
• Develop software modeling and programs to maintain and expand vibration data analysis library
• Provide high-quality, actionable information to clients by setting appropriate alarm levels
• Accompany hardware installation team and recommend placement of machine condition sensing units
• Lead and grow AssetWatch predictive maintenance tool development program
• Expand expertise in machine condition monitoring to include ultrasonic and oil/fluid analysis

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience with vibration data collection and analysis
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals
• Strong mechanical background with industrial equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications

• ISO Category II vibration certification
