About the role

The Production/Process Engineer will lead cross-functional projects in welding technology and robotics, including tender preparation and economic analysis. The role involves developing robot programming routines, training staff, and supporting the design team in creating automation-friendly products. You will also focus on optimizing production processes, material flows, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects in welding and robotics, including tender management and economic analysis.
• Develop and implement programming routines for existing and future robotic systems.
• Train and onboard employees on robotic systems and programming.
• Evaluate models and drawings for automated weldability.
• Design and procure operational equipment such as robots and automated systems.
• Support the design department in automation-friendly product development and production troubleshooting.
• Develop value stream maps and implement measures for productivity and quality optimization.
