Engineering Manager

About the role

Xempus is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams both disciplinary and professionally. You will align engineering activities with company vision, oversee technical initiatives from conception to operation, and foster the development of your team members. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the platform remains stable, scalable, and performant.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineers disciplinary and professionally while supporting their personal and technical development.
• Align engineering activities with company vision and strategic product goals.
• Manage technical initiatives including planning, architecture, quality assurance, and further development.
• Prioritize technical topics in the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Make sound technical decisions, review solutions, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, knowledge management, and standards.
• Support the long-term modernization of the platform with a focus on stability, performance, and maintainability.
