Product Manager - Energy Billing

About the role

The Product Manager will lead the localisation efforts for the global energy billing platform to meet the regulatory and market requirements of France. This role involves managing the Billing Module, ensuring accurate invoice generation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, user-centric solutions. You will act as the primary expert on French energy market nuances while driving the product roadmap for the region.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate intensely with clients and in-country experts to understand their unique needs and requirements, negotiate scope, and build a roadmap.
• Deep dive into French energy market regulations, translating complex compliance needs into detailed product specifications for the billing system.
• Define and manage detailed product requirements for features related to country-specific needs from getting a read to generating a bill.
• Work closely with engineering, UX, and QA teams to ensure the successful implementation and testing of localised billing functionalities.
• Act as the go-to expert for global teams on specific French market nuances related to energy billing and customer journeys.
• Continuously monitor changes in French energy legislation and market practices, proactively adapting the product roadmap to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
