Senior Software Engineer - Go & Rust, Blockchain Infrastructure

About the role

QuickNode is seeking a senior individual contributor to design, build, and improve distributed systems that ingest, process, and serve blockchain data at scale. This hands-on role requires expertise in both Go and Rust to maintain high-performance infrastructure for a global blockchain ecosystem. You will own complex systems from design through production while raising engineering standards for reliability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency backend services, APIs, and data-processing systems in both Go and Rust.
• Own production Go services and Rust components, including architecture, concurrency models, and resource efficiency.
• Architect distributed systems that ingest, process, and serve blockchain data with strong guarantees around consistency and scalability.
• Own technical work end to end, including requirements, implementation, testing, deployment, and incident response.
• Profile and benchmark production systems to identify bottlenecks and improve throughput, latency, and resilience.
• Assess security risks in blockchain and distributed-system components and design controls to protect system integrity.
• Debug complex failures across services, databases, and blockchain nodes to drive durable root-cause fixes.
• Lead design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish engineering standards across teams.
