About the role

Opencast is a growing tech consultancy creating user-centred solutions for government, healthcare, and purpose-driven businesses. As a senior DevOps consultant, you will build and maintain reliable, scalable systems while taking on roles such as Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer. You will work on high-impact projects, focusing on automation and simple, effective DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Taking the lead on responding to outages, triaging issues, and managing stakeholder priorities.
• Designing, developing, and implementing continuous deployment solutions to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their workflows and adopting new tools as required.
• Mentoring other developers to help them achieve their full potential.
• Contributing to internal Opencast communities.
• Ensuring work adheres to company quality, environmental, and information security policies.
