Senior/Staff ML Scientist - Bidding & Optimization

About the role

The Data Science Research team builds foundational algorithms for real-time bidding, budget pacing, and allocation mechanics. This role involves translating complex business constraints into mathematical objectives and deploying core algorithmic frameworks in high-load, low-latency production environments. You will own the full lifecycle of AI capabilities, from academic research to production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Architect sophisticated auction mechanics, real-time bidding engines, and allocation algorithms.
• Translate state-of-the-art research into robust, production-ready code optimized for sub-millisecond latency.
• Lead architectural debates and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to map business goals to mathematical objective functions.
• Drive the team's research direction and mentor junior scientists.
• Architect scalable data pipelines to feed real-time optimization models.
