About the role

The Data Science Research team builds foundational algorithms for real-time bidding, budget pacing, and allocation mechanics. This role involves translating complex business constraints into mathematical objectives and deploying core algorithmic frameworks in high-load, low-latency production environments. You will work at the intersection of auction mechanism design and state-of-the-art machine learning to optimize systems serving hundreds of millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Architect sophisticated auction mechanics, real-time bidding engines, and allocation algorithms.
  • Translate academic research and offline prototypes into robust, production-ready code.
  • Lead architectural debates and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to map business goals to mathematical objective functions.
  • Mentor junior scientists and drive the team's research direction.
  • Architect scalable data pipelines to feed real-time optimization models.
