Senior iOS Engineer

About the role

Oowlish is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join a cloud-native team focused on modern, customer-facing mobile applications. This hands-on role involves designing and delivering high-quality mobile solutions while collaborating with architects, project managers, and client engineering teams. You will leverage your expertise in Swift and AWS to build scalable, production-ready applications within a global, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance production-grade native iOS applications.
• Develop high-quality mobile solutions using Swift and modern iOS development practices.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Apply appropriate application architecture, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Integrate mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, SDKs, and external platforms.
• Write production-ready, well-tested, maintainable, and documented code.
• Build and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.
