Senior Engineer, Android

About the role

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build high-quality mobile experiences across our ecosystem. You will independently own significant features and technical initiatives, providing technical leadership and guidance to other engineers while solving complex customer and technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Own complex features and technical initiatives from design through implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
• Make sound architectural and technical decisions and establish engineering practices that improve code quality, testing, and observability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across mobile applications and their supporting services.
• Partner with backend, platform, iOS, web, and data teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
