Software Development Engineer in Test

About the role

Harmonic Security is seeking an SDET to build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for their AI governance and control platform. You will design test frameworks, manage cross-platform test environments, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality delivery across browser extensions, endpoint agents, and backend services. This role requires a hands-on approach to quality, leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows and maintain rigorous test coverage in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test frameworks for UI, browser extensions, endpoint agents, and backend services.
• Build and run cross-platform tests on Windows, macOS, and Linux to validate system stability.
• Expand and investigate load tests to validate system behavior at scale.
• Investigate bugs, write failing tests, and partner with engineers to verify fixes.
• Integrate tests into GitLab CI pipelines, setting up quality gates and detailed reports.
• Monitor, triage, and improve test coverage while shaping the QA roadmap.
