About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will take autonomous air-defense systems from the lab to the field, deploying, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting them alongside military operators. You will work at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations to own technical outcomes in real operational environments. This role requires a hands-on approach to debugging systems, analyzing telemetry, and driving product improvements based on field experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute customer deployments, live-fire exercises, demonstrations and acceptance trials.
- Deploy and validate systems, including interceptors, AI guidance and mission-management capabilities.
- Integrate systems with sensors, radars, C2 systems, networks and third-party platforms.
- Develop scripts, configuration tools, APIs and integration components required for deployments.
- Diagnose issues across software, hardware, GNC, sensors, networking, communications, and operator workflows.
- Implement safe field workarounds and drive permanent fixes with engineering teams.
- Deliver technical briefings, training, and system onboarding to military operators and stakeholders.
