About the role

As a Graduate Facade Engineer, you will join a dynamic team to develop your knowledge across facade engineering and external wall fire consultancy. You will work alongside experienced engineers on technical project delivery while gaining exposure to facade systems, fire performance, and building envelope design. This role is part of a structured graduate development programme designed to support your professional growth and progress towards chartered status.

Responsibilities

  • Support the review of architectural drawings, specifications, and technical information relating to facade and external wall systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, including external wall fire assessment reports and facade engineering notes.
  • Support external wall fire safety assessments, including appraisals and desktop studies.
  • Participate in site inspections and intrusive surveys to establish external wall and facade build-ups.
  • Assist with thermal and structural engineering tasks related to facade systems under supervision.
  • Support the coordination and review of test evidence, certifications, and product data.
  • Attend site visits, design meetings, and client meetings as required.
  • Maintain accurate records, site notes, and project documentation.
