About the role

Deerns is seeking a senior or experienced HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to lead the design of sustainable and intelligent building projects in their Paris office. The role involves managing the HVAC/Plumbing discipline, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as a key point of contact for clients to define design requirements. You will support project managers in overseeing complex projects while ensuring the technical quality of all studies and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical design studies are conducted in coordination with project managers, architects, and clients.
• Perform thermal assessments, calculations, equipment sizing, and produce technical documentation and plans from preliminary design to tender.
• Analyze contractor bids, finalize contracts, and monitor execution studies.
• Conduct site supervision to verify technical compliance of works until project completion.
