About the role

Deerns is seeking a senior or experienced HVAC and Plumbing Engineer for their Paris office to lead the design of sustainable and intelligent building projects. The role involves managing technical studies, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients to define design requirements. You will support project managers in overseeing complex projects from the initial design phase through to construction completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical design studies are conducted in coordination with project managers, architects, and clients.
• Perform thermal assessments, calculations, equipment sizing, and produce technical documentation and schematics from preliminary design to tender.
• Analyze contractor bids, finalize contracts, and monitor execution studies.
• Conduct site visits to verify technical compliance of work until project handover.
