Senior Financial Operations Specialist

About the role

Ecochain is seeking a Senior Financial Operations Specialist to own the operational backbone of their financial administration. This role involves managing accounts receivable, the vendor invoice pipeline, and month-end closing processes while reporting directly to the Financial Controller. It is a permanent, 24-hour per week position designed for a professional who values ownership and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts receivable end-to-end including billing, contract invoicing, and credit management
• Manage the accounts payable pipeline from intake to approval routing
• Prepare weekly payment batches and maintain oversight of unpaid items
• Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts and cost centres
• Prepare monthly journal entries and perform balance-sheet reconciliations
• Review P&L cost and revenue lines for correct period allocation
• Maintain audit-ready administration and support the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects
