Senior MLOps Engineer

About the role

Eight Sleep is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to design and implement robust ML infrastructure for their sleep fitness technology. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models, from building scalable deployment pipelines to optimizing performance for a fleet of devices. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to integrate cutting-edge AI into products that improve user sleep quality.

Responsibilities

• Pioneer cutting-edge ML technologies and integrate them into products and processes.
• Own the design and operation of robust ML infrastructure, including data, model, and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with R&D, firmware, data, and backend teams to ensure reliable ML inference at scale.
• Drive cost-effective and high-performance ML systems by optimizing compute, storage, and deployment resources.
• Develop tooling, microservices, and frameworks to streamline data processing, experimentation, and deployment.
• Maintain clear and direct communication within a remote work environment.
