About the role
The Senior Revenue Accountant will join the revenue finance team to manage revenue recognition strategy and modern systems in a high-growth SaaS environment. This individual contributor role involves ensuring IFRS 15 compliance, optimizing revenue workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Legal, and Product. The position requires technical accounting mastery and the ability to handle complex enterprise contracts and large-scale transaction data.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in full compliance with IFRS 15.
- Review and analyze contracts and add-ons to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing adjustments and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from infrastructure for revenue closing and reporting.
- Automate large-scale reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger.
- Identify opportunities to streamline efficiency and enhance revenue recognition processes.
- Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Participate in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of revenue recognition systems and tools.
