About the role
The Senior Revenue Accountant will join the revenue finance team to manage revenue recognition strategy and modernize financial systems. This individual contributor role focuses on IFRS 15 compliance, complex enterprise contract analysis, and optimizing revenue workflows within a high-growth SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in full compliance with IFRS 15.
- Review and analyze contracts and add-ons to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing adjustments and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from infrastructure for revenue closing and reporting.
- Automate large-scale reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger.
- Identify opportunities to streamline efficiency and enhance revenue recognition processes.
- Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Participate in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of revenue recognition systems and tools.
