About the role
As a Senior Manager in Accounting & Controlling, you will lead mandates for medium-sized companies by managing their entire accounting process, from daily operations to annual financial statements and strategic advisory. You will act as a direct partner to entrepreneurs, translating financial data into actionable business insights and steering decisions. This role involves leading a team, driving automation, and establishing high-quality standards for financial reporting and planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing accounting for mandates with a high degree of automation.
- Prepare annual financial statements including notes and reports according to HGB standards.
- Conduct monthly or quarterly advisory meetings with entrepreneurs to translate figures into strategic actions.
- Develop planning and control systems including forecasting, liquidity planning, and variance analysis.
- Lead and develop your team through performance reviews, decision-making, and recruitment.
- Define and implement standardized processes for financial reporting and advisory services.
