Working Student Designer (Design System)

About the role

We are looking for a Working Student Designer to join our Heartbeat AI product design team with a focus on our design system. You will help shape the shared design language, components, tokens, and documentation to ensure consistent design and shipping across our teams. This role requires a balance of high autonomy, proactive problem-solving, and a deliberate approach to design system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our scalable, code-aligned design system and help keep it consistent across Heartbeat
• Audit, structure, and document components, tokens, and UI patterns
• Support designers and engineers with reusable building blocks that speed up handoff
• Use AI and modern tools to explore, document, and iterate faster
• Partner with designers and engineers to make decisions easy to follow

Qualifications
