Senior Director - EMEA Startup & VC Business Development

About the role

The Senior Director, Startup Business Development – EMEA will lead the development of CoreWeave’s startup and venture capital business across the region. This role involves building relationships with venture capital firms, accelerators, and research institutions to identify and engage high-potential AI-native companies. You will lead a team to create repeatable programmes that support country sales teams in winning and scaling these customers on the CoreWeave platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EMEA startup business development strategy, operating plan, and investment priorities.
• Build senior relationships with venture capital firms, accelerators, universities, and founder communities.
• Establish clear criteria for prioritising startups based on technical ambition, compute intensity, and funding trajectory.
• Develop strategic engagement plans and repeatable mechanisms for portfolio introductions and technical support.
• Create qualified opportunities and introductions for country field teams to accelerate customer acquisition.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing EMEA Startup Business Development team.
• Act as the regional voice of the startup ecosystem, translating market insight into recommendations for internal product and engineering leadership.
