About the role

ChillQuanta is seeking a business co-founder to help transition their electro-optic spectrometer technology from a lab prototype to a commercial instrument. The role involves defining the company strategy, managing fundraising, and establishing commercial operations for the quantum and semiconductor metrology market. You will work alongside a founding team of scientists to determine the path between licensing or building a startup.

Responsibilities

  • Help decide and execute the path from lab prototype to company including incorporation and go-to-market strategy.
  • Own fundraising strategy and investor relations.
  • Partner with the technical team to turn the lab prototype into an automated, sellable instrument.
  • Build relationships with semiconductor and quantum chip makers as early customers and design partners.
  • Establish the commercial and operational foundation including pricing and business models.
