About the role
The Staff Analog Mixed-Signal Design and Verification Engineer will join the Cryo-CMOS IC team to design and verify analog and mixed-signal blocks for quantum processors. This role involves owning full-chip integration, developing mixed-abstraction models, and ensuring correlation between simulations and measured silicon from room temperature down to cryogenic levels.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-chip modelling strategy including architecture, abstraction levels, and sign-off criteria
- Design analog and mixed-signal blocks such as references, DACs, regulators, and clock distribution
- Manage top-level integration, define block interfaces, and execute full-chip mixed-signal simulations
- Develop Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS models and integrate them into a simulatable full-chip environment
- Build real-number models to support digital verification and regression speed
- Derive models from mathematical transfer functions and network parameters
- Perform model-versus-schematic correlation and incorporate measured silicon behavior into designs
- Lead block-level design reviews and mentor engineering staff
