Senior Frontend Engineer, Marketing Website

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Website team, you will co-own the platform behind synthesia.io, including the component library, content model, and rendering stack. You will shape technical direction and build scalable, accessible, and high-performance marketing pages that support the company's growth. This role requires a hands-on approach to engineering, focusing on composability and enabling both marketers and AI agents to build pages efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale and evolve the section library including Astro components, Sanity schemas and design tokens.
• Own the content model by designing schemas that ensure pages are correct by construction.
• Translate Figma component specs into production-ready, responsive, and accessible code.
• Extend the platform for AI-assisted development to enable automated section generation.
• Manage SEO integrity including canonicals, sitemaps, structured data and redirects.
• Maintain and extend localisation across nine locales and a translation pipeline.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer
• At least 3 years of experience at a senior level building front end for content-driven or marketing platforms
