About the role
The Staff Software Engineer will serve as a technical leader for customer-facing, internet-facing applications within the Licensing team. This role involves owning application code, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines while focusing on modern development practices like SRE and AIOps. The successful candidate will lead a development team, contribute to strategic roadmaps, and ensure high application availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of business requirements on internet-facing line-of-business applications with regular hands-on development.
- Lead and manage a development team, foster a positive work atmosphere, and keep the team engaged and committed to their objectives.
- Promote great quality, continuous improvement and modern application development, maintenance and operations.
- Nurture professional growth of team members through regular mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
- Ensure alignment to company policies, security guidelines and regulatory requirements.
