Controls Product Senior Manager

About the role

The Senior Controls Product Manager will lead the Controls Product & Enablement team to build internal risk products that power safe growth at Monzo. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering, focusing on transforming manual risk friction into automated, self-service workflows. You will act as the Product Lead for core risk lifecycles while directly prototyping and building automated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Controls Product Roadmap by defining the vision, strategy, and backlog for internal risk products.
• Directly design, prototype, and build automated workflows, API integrations, and low-code/no-code solutions.
• Champion AI adoption across the discipline by experimenting with LLM prompting and custom agents.
• Drive the shift from annual assessments to continuous, automated risk monitoring.
• Ensure high-impact adoption through intuitive UI/UX workflows and clear enablement guidance.
• Maintain momentum across the team’s delivery plan while guiding two direct reports.
