Senior Decision Scientist, Frontend Technologies

About the role

The Decision Scientist will join the central data team within the Frontend Technologies domain to ensure the business impact of architectural changes is rigorously analyzed. You will partner with engineering managers, staff engineers, and designers to co-create strategies and provide evidence-based insights. The role involves owning analyses from start to finish and translating complex technical questions into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the definition, implementation, and tracking of key technical and behavioral metrics that define frontend success.
• Turn highly technical questions into structured insights regarding business costs and performance impacts.
• Partner with engineering and design leaders during the discovery phase to evaluate opportunity sizes and establish decision criteria.
• Help design, monitor, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of platform optimizations.
• Engage with the broader Vinted Data Science & Analytics community to share methodologies and standardize tooling.
