Team Head Accounting

About the role

In this key role, you will actively shape the financial and strategic development of the company while taking responsibility for central transformation and accounting projects. You will act as a sparring partner for management, auditors, and capital market participants, managing complex financial and reporting processes. Additionally, you will lead cross-site teams and drive the continuous improvement of accounting, reporting, and control structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS, HGB, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Lead strategic transformation and optimization projects, including carve-outs, process restructuring, and the implementation of new business models.
• Continuously develop accounting, reporting, and control processes to improve quality, transparency, and efficiency.
• Act as the central interface for auditors, regulatory authorities, investors, and internal departments.
• Lead cross-site teams, fostering employee development and maintaining a performance-oriented work environment.

Qualifications
