Network Planning Technical Project Manager

About the role

Nebius is seeking a technical project manager to oversee the connectivity lifecycle for its global AI cloud infrastructure. This role acts as the primary bridge between internal data center development teams and external telecommunications partners, managing projects from initial site assessment through to final infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams including DWDM engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Lead the technical validation of long-haul wave proposals and dark fiber options for data center and PoP selection.
• Act as the technical lead for fiber pathway architecture, including manhole placements, conduit systems, and site entry points.
• Collaborate on the layout of Point of Entry and Meet-Me Rooms to ensure readiness for high-capacity fiber arrivals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with regional ISPs, private dark fiber owners, and utility providers.
• Lead negotiations for IRU agreements, long-term leases, and service structures.
• Maintain internal databases of fiber routes and utilize AutoCAD to manage site infrastructure and conduit design plans.
