About the role
Infinitesima is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to build, integrate, and test precision optical, electro-mechanical, and photonic assemblies for advanced metrology systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers and scientists to solve manufacturing challenges, improve processes, and ensure high-value systems meet performance standards. You will work in a low-volume, high-complexity environment focused on enabling next-generation semiconductor technology.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and test complex optical, cabling, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies while ensuring compliance with quality and performance standards.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing issues by leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive manufacturing process improvements by designing trials, validating changes, and updating controls to enhance efficiency.
- Lead complex system integration activities, validating performance and ensuring manufacturing readiness.
- Partner with Engineering to support product development, new product introduction, and the transfer of new processes into production.
- Mentor colleagues and maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.
