About the role

Fastned is looking for a Senior Expansion Manager to lead site acquisition for the eastern region of Germany around Leipzig. You will identify attractive locations, build long-term partnerships with property owners and municipalities, and negotiate lease or purchase agreements to expand our network of ultra-fast charging stations. This role involves working at the intersection of real estate, technology, and sustainability while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new locations for ultra-fast charging stations
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, and municipalities
  • Lead negotiations for lease, rental, or purchase agreements
  • Analyze site potential based on visibility, accessibility, and economic viability
  • Collaborate with internal teams including architecture, legal, construction, and operations
  • Mentor and lead junior team members within the regional team
