Legal AI Engineer

About the role

Legartis is seeking a Legal AI Engineer to bridge the gap between customer legal workflows and AI product development. You will translate complex legal requirements into technical specifications, build and test AI agent skills, and act as the internal legal authority. This role requires a unique blend of commercial instinct, legal expertise, and hands-on technical ability to build and ship solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer legal workflows into engineering requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Build, test, and ship agent skills and playbooks to solve real-world customer problems.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI performance.
• Create repeatable processes, demo environments, and libraries for Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Provide legal and compliance guidance for internal and customer-facing matters.
