About the role

Enpal is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Accounting team and manage the general ledger for several entities within their growing group. The role involves performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities according to HGB, while collaborating with internal finance departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also contribute to the standardization and automation of accounting processes to support the company's scaling efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the general ledger for a portfolio of Enpal entities and ensure accurate, timely financial information.
  • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities under HGB, including accruals and reclassifications.
  • Handle intercompany accounting, invoicing, and balance sheet reconciliations while resolving discrepancies.
  • Analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts to ensure they accurately reflect business activities.
  • Support HGB annual financial statements, group reporting, and external audits.
  • Assist in the development, standardization, and automation of accounting processes.
