About the role
Cognition is looking for an IT Engineer to own the employee technology experience and scale global IT operations in our London office. This role involves providing responsive support, managing office infrastructure, and improving IT operations through automation and AI-enabled workflows. You will act as the face of IT for the office, ensuring reliable technology and secure access for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT partner for employees, providing support across devices, applications, access, and conferencing.
- Manage office technology reliability, including networks, vendor coordination, and hardware/software asset lifecycle.
- Partner with the global IT team on office expansions, infrastructure changes, and operational runbooks.
- Administer identity and access across platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, and Microsoft 365.
- Manage endpoint security and MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Intune.
- Develop scripts and integrations using TypeScript or Python to automate workflows and reduce manual work.
- Implement monitoring and observability to proactively resolve IT issues.
- Integrate AI-enabled ITSM capabilities and use Devin to improve IT operations.
