About the role
The researcher will join the CREER research center to work on the PREV'IA project, focusing on the knowledge and forecasting of water resources in the Roussillon plain and the Lez spring. The role involves using Physics Informed Machine Learning (PIML) concepts to evaluate synergies between conceptual hydrogeological modeling and physics-informed neural networks. The models developed will be used to determine the evolution of hydrological variables in response to climate change.
Responsibilities
- Explore Physics Informed Architecture (PIA) and Physics Informed Loss Function (PILF) methods.
- Develop models to assess hydrological changes under climate change scenarios.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary project tasks and planning.
- Participate in the organization of meetings and project actions.
- Contribute to the drafting of administrative documents.
