AI Engineer

About the role

As an AI Engineer at 5Plus, you will take technical responsibility for designing, building, and operating production-grade AI systems for customer-facing projects. You will translate ambiguous requirements into reliable, scalable solutions, ranging from LLM-powered workflows to agentic AI systems. The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to guide AI-driven product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship end-to-end AI systems from prototype to production.
• Build LLM-powered applications including RAG, tool usage, and validations.
• Develop and operate agentic AI systems with defined safety and system integrations.
• Define evaluation strategies including metrics, benchmarks, and monitoring.
• Optimize system performance across latency, cost, and quality.
• Take technical leadership within customer project teams.
• Act as a technical point of contact for customers to guide solution decisions.
