Product Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

As a Product Engineer at Maze, you will be a key technical force building customer-facing product experiences at the intersection of generative AI and cybersecurity. You will own the full stack from UI to API, working with significant autonomy to deliver features from concept to production. This role is designed for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced B2B SaaS environments and values independent ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own Product Feature Development: Take complete ownership of features from front-end UI through to API implementation and database layer.
• Build with Modern Front-End Excellence: Craft exceptional user experiences using React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and the TanStack ecosystem.
• Design and Maintain API Infrastructure: Build and own performant REST APIs using our Python/FastAPI backend.
• Drive Autonomous Execution: Operate with high independence, identify what needs building, and make technical decisions quickly.
• Optimize for Performance and Scale: Continuously improve application performance across the stack, from database query optimization to front-end rendering efficiency.
• Contribute to Architectural Decisions: Participate in technical discussions and architectural planning to shape front-end architecture.
• Balance Speed with Quality: Ship features rapidly while maintaining high standards for code quality and customer experience.
