DevOps Consultant

About the role

Opencast is a growing tech consultancy creating user-centred solutions for clients in government, healthcare and purpose-driven businesses. As a DevOps Consultant, you will build and maintain reliable, scalable systems while taking on roles such as Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer. You will work on high-impact projects, focusing on automation and continuous improvement to help teams deliver software efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on responding to outages, triaging issues, and balancing stakeholder priorities.
• Develop and implement continuous deployment solutions to accelerate software delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their ways of working and adopt new tools as needed.
• Contribute to internal Opencast communities and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure work adheres to quality, environmental, and information security policies.
