Procurement Manager

About the role

As Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement, material planning, and supply readiness to support production schedules as the company scales. You will own the operating mechanisms that turn demand into executable material plans, including Clear to Build analysis, MRP execution, and purchase order management. You will lead a team of buyers and material planners while working cross-functionally to remove material constraints before they impact manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Buyers and Material Planners, setting priorities and giving them the tools and training to execute.
• Own Clear to Build analysis and translate demand into executable material plans for production.
• Identify material constraints before they impact production, and drive cross functional actions to resolution.
• Improve the quality of MRP inputs, including lead times, safety stocks, order policies, MOQ and planning parameters.
• Hold suppliers accountable for delivery performance, and drive recovery plans when commitments are at risk.
• Represent material readiness in production, S&OP, shortage and operational review meetings.
• Monitor and report key indicators on supplier performance, material availability and supply risks.
• Resolve downstream issues with receiving, finance and accounting teams.
• Maintain procurement master data in the ERP system and build scalable processes as the company grows.
